Delete your Hilo account.
Hilo is published by Buffalo Dijital Hizmetler A.Ş. (Buffalo Studio). This page explains how to delete your Hilo account and what happens to your data.
Delete it in the app
- Open Hilo and go to the You tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deleting an account needs a recent sign-in. If the app asks you to sign in again, sign out, sign back in, then delete your account.
Delete it without the app
Email hilo@buffalostudio.co from the email address you use to sign in to Hilo, with the subject “Delete my account”. If you signed in with Apple and chose “Hide My Email”, tell us your relay address, or write from the Apple ID email. We may ask you to confirm the request. We delete the account within 30 days and email you when it’s done.

Right away, from our servers:
- your account and sign-in details
- your setup answers and profile
- your conversations
- the memories your companions keep
- your steps
- your invite link
A deletion marker without any of your data is kept for up to two hours, so an old sign-in session cannot recreate the account.
What we keep
- Purchase records kept by Google Play, the App Store and RevenueCat, for as long as billing, tax and legal obligations require.
- Analytics and advertising measurement data held by Firebase, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer and Meta. It is linked to app and device identifiers, not to your name or email, and is kept according to each provider’s retention settings. Email us and we will ask them to delete records linked to your account.
We never kept recordings of your voice, so there are none to delete.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions) or on your iPhone (Settings, your name, Subscriptions).
